Are Nissans Good Cars Reddit

Our options are to pay 5 grand for a new one from nissan or buy a used one. Thankfully, the ‘90s produced a few good cars.

Unfortunately that ends with regret sometimes.

Are nissans good cars reddit. They have kind of evolved into the hyundai/kia of the early 2000's. This means that if nissan is serious about making a bold step forward, then it’ll have to start with improving and updating the tech that’s inside its cars. Back in the 60’s and early 70’s toyota’s and nissans (then called datsuns) were really cheap.

If you don’t like their design, fine, but their quality is good. Nissan have a couple of very reliable cars (almera, micra) and the primera would still be above average. The average annual repair cost for a nissan is $500, which means it has above average ownership costs.

Even those less convinced by the merits of stance should agree that these nissans look great when they're scraping the ground. Once they gained a foothold in the market and established their. I've had auto and manual nissans and the zf9 is an improvement on both.

One user pointed out that the reason why nissan has stayed stagnant has been because its tech just hasn’t kept up with its competitors. Nissan has been building cars for about 85 years. Most of the long term issues in modern nissans tend to be with the cvt gearbox, which damn near every nissan has these days.

So my sister has a 2014 nissan versa note sl, and her transmission recently gave out. This rating is based on an average across 345 unique models. The problems with buying a used one is they are hard to find and are likely not going to last long as cvt's are unreliable.

Nissan basically is what kia was now. Cheap price, fuel economical n many more. Maybe its d car 4 d masses ( or govt hasnt removed subsidy from it, lol).

Great cars, but i tell everyone, you're only as good as your warranty. Imo, nissans offer good value for money, have ok resale value and are ok to drive. They’ve sold hundreds of millions of cars most likely, in dozens of countries.

Nissans are poorly built cars with notoriously bad transmissions. But hundreds of owners have been complaining to the nhtsa and online about their transmissions slipping, since it switched to continuously variable automatic transmissions about a decade ago. Plus, if you want a manual, you'd better look at a mazda 6 or honda accord, because the altima exlusively uses a cvt, as does the maxima.

And despite a warranty extension, the complaints keep coming. They're great cars if all you want is uncompromising transportation, but they offer little else outside of that. The bigger car with more power going through that cvt will wear it out quicker as well.

They put the maxima engine in it around 270hp. They are trying (quite successfully) to capture market share. I used 3 diff nissans b4 now, n i can tell u dat those cars were reliable.

People buy nissans often because they are big and cheap. Lol ohh i just read 4 cyl and automatic lol boooooo.ok get the newest model, lowest miles, and lowest payment or best. This is obviously easier said than done.

Nissan is frowned upon mainly due to reliability and a lot of that has to do with the cvt transmissions. Definitely no zf8, but for something like an altima it's fine. The nissan reliability rating is 4.0 out of 5.0, which ranks it 9th out of 32 for all car brands.

The other factors that contribute to nissan reliability include an average of 0.3 visits to a repair shop per year and a 13% probability of a repair being severe. Nissans are stylish and affordable cars. Luckily those year models still used an old four speed slushbox though, and older nissans were.

Seemingly good size and feature content for the money, but quite a let down in build quality, driving refinement and. These cheap but reliable cars have been the staple of tuner culture for over three decades now and have only gotten better due to the amount of aftermarket support available for them. Look at a honda pilot, kia sportage or hyundai tucson.

Hopefully you know a nissan mechanic in case anything does go wrong. They are pretty good at it by now. Nissan is statistically one of the most reliable car brands, with some models leading their category in the #1 spot.

An altima but camry is far ahead of it in terms of every indices.the only thing close is the maxima which takes a good credit for his stylish build.as. Of the ones on your list the armada is definitely the most solid as it's now finally based off the legendary patrol sold in other markets. They make almost as many cars in the us as they do in japan, and they export globally from both locations.

The nissan reliability rating is 4.0 out of 5.0, which ranks it 9th out of 32 for all car brands. The difference between them and the low ferraris is that nissans are more natural candidates to be low, as the trend started around jdm cars and has been prevalent in japan for decades.
