The problem with decals on carbon rims is that if you don’t want them to look cheap, or peel off, you need to apply a clear coat over the wet slide. I gave up on each because it was clear nothing was working. Hexane, the solvent in vittoria mastik, is the fastest and easiest thing for removing old glue i know, and very effective for revitalizing and smoothing the old glue on your rims as well. It's citrus based i think. Labor costs associated with removing the wheels and any associated components including but not limited to rotors, tires, cassette, computer magnets, etc from the bicycle or wheel; If you are looking for more ways to remove stickers i suggest you run a search as this topic has been debated quite deliberately.

When securing a bicycle with carbon wheels on a car rack be sure not to use straps that can chafe and cut into the rim. I am sure that acetone or xylene (dont inhale this stuff!) in moderate quantities can be used because that is what we use to. If only there was a way to apply a permanent graphic and not have to add a clear coat over top…

Just did it on my bike this weekend with no problems. With a 45mm deep and stiff profile, the wr45 is designed. I tried various cleaning agents, everything from, wd40 to acetone, meths, and god knows what.

Avoid exposing carbon rims to any excessive or prolonged sources of heat. I'm not sure about carbon rims but i cleaned all the old dried on sealant from the insides of my tyres and alloy rims using just an old towel. With tall rims you may need to replace the stock strap with a longer one.

If you use these products, be careful, as they can damage decals. I wanted to remove some branding wheel decals from black rims, with a bit of care they came off in one bit, did not need the hot water. And then try to remove them.

If it's starting to come off already, try accelerating the process by washing the seatpost in warm water. This will remove the surface layer of grease and grime to allow you to work on removing the stubborn stains underneath.
